ICmic Announces Availability of CMOS Parallel DAC IC - ICM7600 Series

IC MICROSYSTEMS Sdn. Bhd. (ICmic), a leading Malaysian-based fabless IC Design company located in Cyberjaya, announces the commercial availability of its CMOS Parallel DAC IC (Digital Analog Converter Integrated Circuit) ICM7600 series for the Global Market.

ICmic’s ICM7600 series has Industry Standard Parallel Interface with Double-Buffered Input. It has wide output voltage swing and allows excellent power saving with its shutdown capability. The ICM7600 family of DACs comes in 8, 10 and 12 Bit versions.

"Our Parallel DAC carries excellent performance in terms of its Ultra Low power of less than 300 µA, Guaranteed Monotonic Performance and Double Buffered Input to allow for application flexibility. The Parallel DAC with 8-bit resolution has INL of less than 1 LSB" said Mr. Abdul Rashid Munir, President and Chief Executive Officer of ICmic when emphasizing the capabilities of ICM7600 series. He added, "Following our successful introduction of extensive range of Serial DAC, we are indeed very excited with this latest product launch of Parallel DAC".

These Parallel DACs are targeted for applications in Process Control, Digital Offset and Gain adjustment, Industrial Automation and Portable Instruments.

The 7600 series come in Small TSSOP Package (20 and 24 pin) with single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. The ICM7620, ICM7610, ICM7600 are available at the price of $5.90, $3.60 and $2.10 respectively for each for order of 1000 units.
