In ICmic, information security has been given a very high priority.

• A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is signed and all private information is respected.
• All the computers for contract layout services will not be connected to LAN or have shared directories with other computers.
• The Design services would be done in a confined area.
• Every project will have its own name. It allows for a better ‘tracebility’.
• Files that are transferred will be encrypted with password.
• After completion, the database is kept for a certain period for backup purposes. However, if the customer wanted, it would be deleted immediately.

We would negotiate a schedule with the customer based on the complexity of the design and a firm delivery date is set. Weekly updates would be given to customers.

• All the computers for design services will not be connected to internet or have shared directories with other computers.
• Our staffs would be available from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Special contact after work hours could also be provided.
• The database would belong to ICmic till the due date but the customer can review it from time to time.
• For concurrent layout design service, a schedule is set based on the initial floorplan and the extent of the edits.

• Planned specifications
• Foundry layout rules including sheet resistors and capacitance.
• GDSII layer mapping table.
• Die size estimate.
• Layout requirements like shielding lines or matched signals, snap grid requirements.
• Netlist with the device models in.
• Type of verifications that the customer want ICmic to run.
