ICmic Announces Availability Of CMOS Single-Chip Phone IC, ICM7101

Cyberjaya, Malaysia, January 15th, 2004.

IC MICROSYSTEMS Sdn. Bhd. (ICmic), a leading Malaysian-based fabless IC Design Company, located in Cyberjaya, Malaysia announces the commercial availability of its Single-Chip Phone IC, ICM7101 for global market.

ICM7101 is a fully CMOS single-chip Phone IC integrating speech, dialer and ringer circuits. The integration reduces the overall cost of a typical two or three-chip telephone set solutions.

ICM7101 has user configurable options which make it possible to have single board design that can meet various international fixed line telecommunication standards.

After the successful testing of ICM7101 in various countries telecommunication requirement, ICM7101 is available for volume customer orders. ICmic has been working directly with several interested customers, distributors and system design companies. The preliminary product release datasheet has attracted interest from more than 15 companies worldwide.
